Dr. B. R. R. Government Degree College was established in the year 1963 by The Merchants' Association under Private Management. The College was taken over by the Government in 1970 and named after the first chief minister of Hyderabad State. It is located in a predominantly rural settings in the town of Jadcherla, 16 Kms. from the district headquarter Mahabubnagar.
